A meeting to help find ways to help West Virginia move forward was held Thursday.
A group of business leaders and legislators came together at Oglebay to discuss key issues facing the state. Some of those included: tax reform, education, right to work and prevailing wage. (Read the full story on WTRF-TV)
WHEELING - West Virginia Senate President William Cole said the new GOP majority must continue giving everyone a seat at the policymaking table if it is to retain control of the Legislature in a state where only 29 percent of registered voters are Republicans.
"We have to have broad appeal. We have to make sure we're representing all of West Virginia," Cole, R-Mercer, said Thursday as the West Virginia Business and Industry Council kicked off its "Policy and Progress" tour at Oglebay Park in Wheeling.
